The Sniffer is a great and useful tool for developing RDM. HOWEVER, the timing information on it is not very accurate. Most folks on here use the Sniffer to look at the packets and data on the wire but do not rely on it for any timing analysis at all. For timing, using a scope or a Goddard DMXter-4-RDM are the most reliable methods.
