Hello
I read in the spec at 5.3 that devices shall not respond to broadcast messages except discovery messsages. While this makes sense for the DISCOVERY_UNIQUE_BRANCH command, I am not sure if devices must respond to a broadcast DISCOVERY_UN_MUTE and DISCOVERY_MUTE or not? In my opnion, it will cause clashes on the bus if they all respond but maybe there is a reason for this? Can someone please clarify this for me? Kind regards Bernt |

Bernt,
The ONLY Broadcast message that devices should respond to is the DISCOVERY_UNIQUE_BRANCH message. Responding to a Broadcast sent to the Mute or Un-Mute would cause lots of issues.
