Thank you for quick answer but I suppose I was not clear in my question, so I will report an example:

let's say that I want send the string "QUADRATIC" which has 9 characters.
I can send a message with the string "QUADRATIC" and PDL = 9 and it would be certainly ok.
Or I could send a message with the string "QUADRATIC",<0x00>,"abcdefghijklmnopqrstuv" and PDL = 32.
What about this second choice (see 10.1 of standard)?
