As my colleague Scott says, TCP is required for RDMnet, but only at most one TCP connection is required at a time. I would recommend looking into the compile-time config options of your network stack...

To enable RDMnet packet dissection in Wireshark...

To enable RDMnet packet dissection in Wireshark 3.4.0 or higher, go to Analyze -> Enabled Protocols... Search for "rdmnet" and make sure all boxes are checked. Then use "rdmnet" as a filter protocol.

One thing to note - using the [[deprecated]] attribute makes this usable in a minimum C++14...
